Komo Hawaiian BBQ started with a simple idea — to bring people comfort and happiness through food.
I’m Felix, the founder of Komo. Before opening this restaurant, I worked hard in food industry, and always believed that good food could make a bad day better. I love the warmth and flavor of Hawaiian barbecue — the smoky meat, the sweet and tangy sauces, and the relaxed island feeling. It reminded me of the joy of sharing food with family and friends.
When I moved here, I noticed there weren’t many places that served this kind of food — something hearty, flavorful, and full of aloha spirit. That’s when I decided to start Komo. It wasn’t easy at first — long hours, learning everything from scratch, and taking care of every detail myself. But I wanted to create a place where people could feel welcome, eat something delicious, and leave with a smile.
Komo isn’t just about barbecue. It’s about community, kindness, and sharing a taste of happiness with everyone who walks through our doors. My wish for Komo is simple — that it becomes a place people come back to not just for the food, but for the feeling.
